A George IV provincial Odd Fellows badge , in the form of a 16 pointed star with a central print of the open hand and heart (behind glass), inscribed around the edge Presented to Thomas Shephard P.G.M by the Wakefield District of Independent Odd Fellos as a tribute of respect for his past services 1826, by W. Astley, York 1825, 5in (13cm) wide.
