A large, 19th century, wine label , in the form of a fruit bat with outstretched wings, finely tooled to resemble fur and with an engraved, matt ground on the wings, with the applied letters "MADEIRA" unmarked, second half of the 19th century, 4.25in (11cm) wide, 1.8oz.
