Description
A William & Mary chinoiserie porringer and cover, with beaded s-scroll handles, a campana form bowl and a small stepped circular foot, the cover with a flattened dome and a reeded rim, centred by a centred knop finial and the whole decorated with flat chased figures, birds and flowering plants, centred on one side by a wreath cartouche with a pricked crest below another engraved crest, the base scratched with two sets of initials:
