Description
A Rare George II ascribed West Country Hanovarian basting spoon, of good gauge with a fingle drop, scratched with the initials 'SD' over 'HM' over 'E' and a later set of script initials on the back of the terminal, makers mark only, struck twice, by Thomas Peard, Buddock, near Penryn c.1740, 12.5in (38.5cm) long, 4.5oz.
