The Royal Society of St. George, Past President's Jewel, Shanghai Branch, silver-gilt and enamel, St. George slays dragon within border of red and white roses, rosette on ribbon, maker RS (Spencer), Birmingham Hallmark 1933, in case of issue. Good very fine. The Royal Society of St. George, in its present form, was founded in 1894 as a patriotic society with the object of promoting "Englishness" and the English way of life.
