A George III suite of one large, one medium sized and two small meat dishes, of shaped oval outline and two matching second course dishes of shaped circular outline with gadrooned border, each engraved underneath with numbers and scratchweight, and engraved on their rims with a coat of arms* by J Parker & E Wakelin, London 1772, the largest meat plate 19.6in (49.8cm) wide, the smallest two 13.4in (34cm) wide, the second course plates 12in (30.5cm) diameter, 238oz.
