A rare Chinese amber carving, depicting a figure in a sanpan and another ringing a temple bell, all on a rocky mountain side with pagodas, pine, banana and wutong trees, one gate inscribed zhung so gu, the other with a more faint three character inscription, 19th century, 8.5cm.
