A set of six Chinese famille rose plates, painted with figures in interiors with views of balconies and leafy trees, the borders enamelled with flowers and butterflies, each with a six character mark of Jiang Zheng long zhi (Made by Jiang Zhenglong), c.1820, a few small chips, 19.4cm. (6)
Provenance: Acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
