Description

A Chinese famille rose bowl, cover and liner, decorated with figures engaged in various pursuits in rocky gardens, the interior and base, turquoise, the gilt side lifts with metal handles, an iron red six character Jiaqing mark and of the period 1796-1820, 18.5cm. (3) Provenance: Acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
