Description
Harrison (George). Forthright and revealing autograph letter signed, undated but in the original envelope dated 23 August, 1963, addressed to a fan, 3pp. on notepaper headed Palace Court Hotel Bournemouth, written on one side, the envelope worn and with penned 'B' on the verso.
Written on the day 'She Loves You' was released as a single, this letter gives personal details and insights, not only to the singing: 'I sing in the chorus, and on every other line of 'She Loves You' ', but to how George felt about their audience's responses and Ringo's role.
The letter was written from Bournemouth when 'The Beatles' were doing a six-day gig at the town's Gaumont Theatre. It was in response to fan mail sent to him by the vendor, then a young girl living in London.
