Description
A cast iron stickstand for twelve canes, the side handles above Gothic tracery panels, to a stepped base and lift-out tray, the sides cast 'No 21, C. B. Dale Co.' with registration lozenge and 'No 128 264', one brass finial missing, 23.75in (60cm) h, 23.75in (60cm) w, 14.75in (37.5cm) d.
The Coalbrookdale design, number 128264, was registered and patented in 1860, and is listed as number 221A in their 1875 Castings Catalogue, section II, page 235.
