A mahogany inverted breakfront writing table, inlaid brass and ebonised stringing, with three frieze drawers, one with an ivorene plaque inscribed 'SPILLMAN & CO., ST MARTIN'S LANE, LONDON', one with divisions, late 19th century, 29.25in (74.3cm) h, 35.75in (90.7cm) w, 20.75in (52.7cm) d. Losses to mouldings, leather top lacking, one castor off but present.
