An unusual George III silver gilt vinaigrette, in the form of a seashell, with engraving and a leaf grille, the cover engraved with a merman with a wine goblet, against a rayed and pricked ground by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1807, 1.3in (3.3cm)long.
