Description
Four enamel plaques, (probably originally set in boxes): on early 19th century polychrome plaque, oblong with women and soldiers outside a castle gate, signed, numbered and dated 1818 on the reverse, another canted oblong example with classical figures and doves painted in warm shades of mauves, pinks and purples, an oval polychrome example with a bishop blessing his subjects and a late 17th/early 18th century oblong example with a basket of assorted flowers, the largest 2.7in (6.9cm) wide.
