World War I, a family group of medals, a casualty Trio, 1914-15 Star (Z-1508 Pte. R. Dean, Rif: Brig:), War and Victory medals, first very fine, other two as issued, Regimental pin and enamelled coin-like badge; Pair, War and Victory medals (2006599 Spr. P. Dean, C.E.), nearly extremely fine. (7) Rifleman Roland Spencer Dean, son of Mr. James and Mrs. M. L. Dean [20 Turnbull Road, Longsight, Manchester], killed on the 15th February, 1915 and remembered at the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.
