A late Victorian satinwood polychrome decorated sarcophagus shaped tea caddy, with a faceted sloping cover and tapering sides decorated scrolling and ribbon tied foliage, the interior with a pair of hinged lidded canisters, and a glass footed bowl, the sides with oval brass plate beaded handles, raised on brass plate hairy feet, 10.5in (26.5cm) h, 14.5in (37cm) w, 7.5in (19cm) d.
