A rare Mennecy teapot and cover, the body moulded with tight spiral ribbing and painted with large floral sprays, the handle issuing from four berried motifs, a short hexagonal spout, incised 'DV' mark, mid 18th century, a small chip to the cover's flange, 14.5cm. (2)
