An early 19th century Scottish provincial silver mounted shell table snuff box,
marked twice with maker's mark CM, for Charles Murray, Perth circa 1816,
the mount with bright-cut borders, hinged cover, inscribed: 'To Mr Alexr. Monteath writer Perth as a token of gratitude and respect', length 8.5cm.
