A 19th century French Aesthetic Movement silver card case, maker's mark E.G in a lozenge, retailed by Mappin and Webb, circa 1880, rectangular form, one side engraved with a snake inter-twined around a bamboo stem, the other side with a bird in a foliate setting, hinged cover, length 10.2cm, approx. weight 3oz.
