A German treen and penwork tea caddy, of cylindrical form with a hinged cover painted a summer pavilion with trees and rocks, the body inscribed 'Andenken von Baden' souvenir from Baden, with scroll, leaf and ribbon bands, with a steel shield escutcheon, 2nd quarter 19th century, 4.25in (11cm) h and dia. Top with 3in (7.5cm) split.
