A fine Victorian Scottish provincial silver-gilt 'castle top' vinaigrette,
by Rettie and Son of Aberdeen, with Edinburgh marks for 1864,
oval form, the cover with a scene of a house within foliate scroll borders, the base inscribed, 'Roderick Mackenzie's House in Bombay 1847', with a pierced foliate scroll grille, length 6.3cm, approx. weight 3oz.
