A J P White 'Biddenham' white painted garden seat with pierced heart decoration 140cm. wide John Andrews Arts and Crafts Furniture Antique Collector's Club page 244 plates 260-261 for original advertising photographs of this range and other J P White ranges. J.P.White produced the designs of Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott in the early years of the 20th Century and these influenced White's own designs. Their furniture was retailed at Liberty's, Heal's and also Wylie & Lochhead.
