Description
An interesting Wiener Werkstatte white metal bottle stopper the designed by Josef Hoffmann, modelled as a bell flower stamped marks 900 WW mark and JH monogram, small repair to finial 10cm. high Gabriele Fahr-Becker Wiener Werkstatte Taschen, page 75 for examples of a similar bell flower, designed by Josef Hoffmann, carved in wood as both wall panelling and a decorative support for a table for the Villa Skywa-Primavesi, Vienna project 1913-1915 Sotheby's Pioneering 20th Century Design, 8th March 2005 lot 33 for an example of a Hoffmann silver bottle top.
