A pearlware equestrian model of Hudibras, the heroic knight astride his horse, his hand poised to draw his sword, raised on a marbled socle base, 19th century, some restoration, 30cm.
This model of Hudibras from the mock heroic narrative by Samuel Butler is copied from William Hogarth's print of 'Hudibras Sallies Forth'.
