An Edwardian silver ceremonial spade,
by Alfred Butt, Chester 1902, retailed by Lowe of Chester,
with engraved foliate decoration, and engraved with a coast of arms and inscribed 'British Legion H.C, Saltney, 3rd April 1964 Presented to T. Sarl Williams Esq. by The directors of G. D. Stockbridge limited on the occasion of cutting the first sod of the new hall', length 51.2cm, ivory handle, in a fitted case.
