A late 17th century continental silver reliquary,
unmarked, Northern European,
of oval watch case form, the two hinged covers chased with Biblical scenes, the sides with chased foliate decoration, with a loop attachment, the hinged covers open to reveal pierced scroll section, the inside of the hinged covers engraved with diagrams of the sections and the Saints that they relate to, length 4cm, approx. weight 1.2oz.
