An Edwardian Arts and Crafts silver mounted green glass tankard,
maker's mark worn, London 1901, retailed by Johnson Walker and Tolhurst Ltd, 172 New Bond Street, London, W,
tapering cylindrical form, the glass possibly by Powell, the hinged cover with a pierced scroll finial, strap work, and mounted with four red enamel cabochons, the body with rope work mounts and a central vacant shield, scroll handle, the whole on a circular foot, on four pierced bracket feet, height 15.2cm.
