A Chinese soapstone carving of Shoulao, standing holding a branch over his shoulder, his robes finely incised with cloud scrolls, and with polychrome details, 18th century, damaged, 21cm. Provenance: Sackville, 5th Earl of Yarborough, purchased from John Sparks Ltd., and recorded in the Sparks archive.
