Description
A Chinese famille noire hexagonal teapot and cover, decorated with reticulated panels of pine, prunus and bamboo, the handle modelled as a fish, Kangxi 1662-1722, the lid a poor fit, damage to cover and spout, 15.5cm. (2)
Provenance: Sackville, 5th Earl of Yarborough, purchased from John Sparks Ltd., for 95 guineas, and recorded in the Sparks archive.
