A rare Chinese gilt bronze official seal, dated the 14th year of the 5th month of Qianlong (corresponding to 1750), incised with Chinese and Manchu characters, 10.5cm.
By repute, this is the seal of the Qing official in charge of the garrison troops opening up wastelands to grow grain, from the Ministry of Works and Ministry of Rites and Ceremonies.
