A Japanese Satsuma bowl, with a flared rim, the exterior painted with three panels containing birds amidst bamboo, prunus and flag iris, the interior with birds amidst wisteria, impressed and painted marks for Kinkozan, Meiji 1868-1912, some wear to the interior, 24cm.
