A small collection of three silver wine labels, comprising: A George III label, by Thomas Hyde, circa 1790, oval form, beaded border, pierced 'SHERRY', length 4.7cm, plus an early-Victorian label, by The Barnards, London 1837, rectangular form, gadroon border, incised 'RUM', length 4.4cm, plus a George IV label, possibly by William Fell, London 1826, oblong form, gadroon border, pierced 'SHERRY', length 4cm. (3) Provenance: Sherry (1790) purchased from Brian Beet 30th January 1987. Rum purchased from Lynn Greenwood, Antiques, Stow-on-the-Wold, 14th May 1986. Sherry (1826) purchased from Mary Cooke Antiques, 4th June 1981.
