A late 19th century malacca walking cane, with an ivory handle and a chased gilt metal ferrule inscribed and dated '1889', 34.25in (87cm) l, an alpine walking cane with a horn handle, the shaft inscribed 'GIESSBACH' and impressed other place names, an ebonised cane with plaited wire ferrule, the handle signed 'LUND , 57 CORNHILL'.
