A George III bronze bell, dated 1779, 14in (36cm) dia.
Provenance: The Brocas Family, Roche Court, Fareham. By repute this bell was possibly made to commemorate the death of Sir William Gardiner who married Jane Brocas.
Roche Court is now Boundary Prep School and the vendor of the bell was the School Doctor who was present with it on his retirement.
