* A Meissen fabeltiere teacup and saucer, painted in the manner of Adam Friedrich von Löwenfinck with fabulous beasts in stylized Kakiemon-style landscapes, brown line rims, blue crossed swords marks, impressed '14' to the saucer, c.1740, a small chip and short associated crack to the saucer, 12cm. (2)
Provenance: from a distinguished private European collection.
