* A Meissen Hausmalerei plate, painted with figures on foot and horseback beside a stream, two fallen trees leaning over from the opposite bank, distant buildings visible through the branches of other trees, the border decorated with four sprays of flowers and hops, blue crossed swords mark, c.1735, a small rim chip, 22.5cm. Provenance: from a distinguished private European collection.
