* A miniature Meissen vase from the Saxon Court, painted with two dragons in iron red and gilt above stylized motifs, blue crossed swords mark and KHC in dark purple, c.1745, 6cm. KHC stands for Königliche Hof-Conditorei (Royal Court Pantry), and pieces marked with these initials were designated for use on the Palace dessert table. Provenance: from a distinguished private European collection.
