A set of four Edwardian Scottish silver armorial menu card holders,
by W.S, Edinburgh 1908,
modelled as the badge of Princess Louise's Argyllshire Regiment (91st), length 5.5cm, approx. weight 2.5oz. (4)
The regimental name honours Princess Louise, (1848-1939), 4th daughter of Queen Victoria who married John Campbell in 1871. he represented Argyllshire in the House of Commons at the time, and he succeeded his father as Duke of Argyll in 1900.
