Description
Two 19th century French base metal and enamel saucy vesta boxes,
rectangular form, one enamelled with a scene of a couple formally dressed and in an embrace above 'midi', the interior with a scene of the couple in a different embrace above 'minuit', length 4.3cm, plus another with a scene of a gentleman arriving home and asking 'ou est Josephine', the interior with a scene of Josephine sitting on a potty smoking, length 4.5cm.
