An early 19th century Swiss gold and enamel snuff box,
maker' s mark of B.S in a lozenge,
oval form, the hinged cover enamelled with a scene of a ewe and her lamb, with a seed pearl border, the sides with chased foliate decoration within blue linear enamel borders, the base with similar and engine turned decoration, in the original fitted case, length 5.9cm, approx. weight 34.5g.
