A mid 19th century Russian silver-gilt and enamel snuff box,
assay master of D. Tverskoy, circa 1850,
shaped rectangular form, engraved with engine turned and foliate decoration, with three coloured blue enamel decoration, and multi-coloured enamel decoration, the hinged cover with a scroll thumb-piece, length 9.8cm, approx. weight 5oz.
