circular form, the hinged cover inscribed, 'St. Mortiz Curling Club 1914', diameter 6.4cm.
The St. Moritz Curling Club was founded as early as December 21st, 1880. During the previous winter Johannes Badrutt had received a set of curling stones from some Scottish friends. In the winter of 1880/1 two curling rinks had been swept free of snow on the frozen lake of St. Moritz and smoothed with self-made ice planers.
