circular tapering form, applied with 'niello' style decoration, gilding and black enamel, depicting a Japanese lady with a fan, Japanese characters and fish and lily pads, silver gilt borer, gilded interior, on a pierced foliate circular foot, height 10.2cm, approx. weight 8oz.
