A small Chinese pale celadon jade carving of a mythical beast, probably Song dynasty. Walking in a menacing pose with its head raised, baring its teeth, the tail curled around its legs, the stone with pale brown striations, 7.5cm.
Provenance:purchased in Hong Kong during the 1950s, by repute.
