A interesting collection of eight late 18th / early 19th century French silver on copper assay plates, each with various hallmark stamps of the period, including a rectangular one titled '1818 Grosses Garanies D'Argent (Deps.)', one circular, titled: 'Poincons Generaux', 'Bruges' and 'Ypes', one titled 'Marseille', 'Aix' and 'Tarascon',one with Dept.13, two circular ones with date letters, and two others, diameter of largest 7.9cm.
