Description

A matched pair of Edwardian silver mounted glass claret jugs, by Charles Boyton, London 1902 and 1903, tapering circular bodies with hobnail cut decoration on a spread circular foot, the mounts with a scroll handle and trailing grapevine and Bacchus mask decoration, the hinged covers mounted with a rampant lion holding a monogrammed shield, (one shield a.f), both mounts with traces of gilding, height 27.7cm.
