Description

An early Victorian needlework sampler, by Ann Maria Turner, 1846, worked with Adam and Eve, bands of flowers, various urns filled with flowers, a dog and a verse, inscribed 'Ann Maria Turner her work done in Mr Raine's Asylum in the year of our Lord 1846', 14.75 x 11.5in (37.4 x 29.5cm), in a later gilt and glazed frame.
