A 19th century Chinese hardwood writing desk, the carved fretwork galleried back to a central leather lined hinged writing slope with a pen tray, flanked either side by two burr elm panels, the carved and pierced frieze on moulded supports united by peripheral stretchers, 42.75in (108.5cm) h, 54.75in (139cm) w, 23.25in (58.8cm) d. Some old damages.
