A late George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, with a fixed cornice with key moulding above a satinwood frieze with raised tablet and a pair of astragal glazed doors with boxwood edging, enclosing adjustable shelves, the secretaire fitted pigeon holes and drawers, above three further long drawers, one with division, another formerly, fitted brass oval plate handles, on bracket feet, 94.25in (239.5cm) h, 46in (117cm) w, 23in (58.5cm) d.
