An early Chelsea fluted beaker, with an undulating rim, brightly enamelled in the Kakiemon palette with the 'Ho-Ho Bird' pattern, unmarked. Small rim chips. c.1745-50, 7cm. Cf. J Austin, Chelsea Porcelain at Williamsburg, no.34 for a similar example.
